Brian M. Anson is an associate with the firm of Insler & Hermann, LLP. He has been practicing Disability Law since 1997, successfully representing claimants across the United States. He earned a BA in English and History from SUNY-Binghamton in 1992 and a JD from Hofstra University School of Law in 1995. After two years as a prosecutor in Nassau County, Brian joined a large national law firm, where he represented disabled claimants primarily in the New York metropolitan area. Since that time he has worked for several other New York based disability law firms, gaining extensive experience representing the disabled in Social Security Disability, New York State Workers’ Compensation, and Veterans’ claims.

Brian and Gabe Hermann practiced Disability law at the same firm for a few years a decade ago and continued to meet at hearings offices and conferences where Gabe was able to observe how well Brian interacted with his clients and heard the positive feedback from the Judges before whom he appeared. In 2009, Gabe recruited Brian to join Insler & Hermann, LLP. Brian now represents our clients in all aspects of their disability claims, from intake and application to appeals.

Brian is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, and in the Federal District Courts. He plays piano and guitar, composes and records music, and enjoys movies, cooking, and nature documentaries.
