From Southern Dutchess/Putnam

Take Route 9 North, exit at Main Street and make a right (away from river). You will go past the Mid Hudson Civic Center. Social Security office is at the fourth light after you get off the highway, at the corner of Main Street and Academy Street. TO PARK: Make a left at the light onto Catherine St. (it is Academy to the right, Catherine to the left) and parking is one half block on the right.

From I-84

Take Exit 13 to Route 9 North. Approximately 12 miles later (past all of the shopping strips), look for exit for Main Street in Poughkeepsie. Then follow as above.

From Taconic Parkway

Exit at Route 55 West and follow that straight into the City of Poughkeepsie where it becomes Mill Street. Follow Route 55/Mill St. to Catherine St. Make a left on Catherine; parking is on your left when you turn, and the Social Security office is one block down Catherine at the corner of Main.

From Northern Dutchess via Route 9

Take Route 9 South to the Left Exit for Church St. Take Church Street to Academy Street, the fourth light. Make a left on Academy; Social Security is one block on the left, corner of Main and Academy. TO PARK: go one half block past Main on Catherine (Academy becomes Catherine) and park on right.
