Social Security Disability Tip of the Month

Did You Know

You CAN File A Social Security Disability Claim

Even If Your Disability is Not Permanent

A popular misconception is that in order to file a Social Security Disability claim your disability must be permanent.

Many people don't file because they expect their condition to improve, or if they have already been denied they don't appeal because they are improving,  have returned to work or are considering returning to work.

If you are disabled or expected to be disabled for at least 12 consecutive months, you may be eligible for a "closed period" of disability.

You can still receive benefits for the time you were disabled even if you are back to work or your condition has improved by the time of your hearing.

We can help. Call (877) 773-3030 for your no obligation claim analysis today.

At Insler & Hermann, LLP we win almost three times the national average

at the initial application level & more than twice the national average overall.
